An earthenware plant pot with the vase and tray attached with two drain holes in the bottom of the planter pot.
The plant pot is 5"H and 6-3/4"dia. The tray is 5"dia and 1"H.
A white earthenware clay was used. The colors are created by a combination of color sprays. The red is a iron slip the blue is a silica glaze with elements added to produce small crystals. The white is the bare clay. The pot is over sprayed with a clear silica glaze.
The pot has my thumb print on the side. I liked the way the pot looks but I've reduced the price for this. However, those who are knowledgeable about archaeology and collecting, may realize that the potters finger marks would add to the provenance and value....in, maybe 100 years; definitely within a thousand years.
The pot weighs 1 lb, 11-7/8 ozs, without packing.
