This is a variation of my favorite planter type with a brand new successful glaze. My glazes don't usually work on the first try, but this one did. The planter is made from a white earthenware clay. The tray is made integral with the pot, that is its all one piece. The glaze was sprayed on and has opacifiers added so the the green pigment is the only color seen. I like it.

When watering a plant, pour enough water to make a little water come out in the tray. Otherwise, when gravity works on the water in the potting soil, you might get a flood

Earthen ware clay is not good if left out in freezing temperatures. Take it in for the winter or it'll spall.

The planter is has a 6-1/4 inch top diameter and a 6-1/2 inch bottom diameter. It is 6 inches tall. The pot, without packaging weighs 2 lbs- 5 oz.
