Stoneware casserole for cooking in an oven, or storage jar. Bowl is 8-1/2" wide and, with cover, 5” high. The handles make it about 11" wide. The casserole is made of a buff colored speckled stoneware covered by a clear glaze with red and blue striping. The casserole is a second because some of the clear glaze pooled in the bowl as can be seen in one of the pictures. I would have priced it a $50 or higher. I sold one of my casaroles at a local shop for $35. The customer was going to use it as a soup tureen. The casserole weighs 4lbs 7ozs and holds about 2 quarts.
